Description
Burne provided building and bridge design services for the replacement of the old two-span bridge and relocation and strengthening of the historic firehouse building. The firehouse building was temporary relocated during the construction of the new bridge. After the bridge was completed, the building was moved to its new permanent location on the bridge slab. Burne Engineering conducted field reviews, condition assessment, and analysis of the existing building and the independent check of the bridge and retaining walls. The building design included strengthening with a new interior steel frame.
